The National Liberation Monument in the Dutch city of Wageningen is a monument in memory at the end of the Second Wereldoorlog.In Wageningen negotiations took place in Hotel De Wereld in May 1945, after which the German occupiers signed the surrender. In the same year the initiative was taken for a capitulation monument, a year later they talked about Peace Monument. In the end, the name National Liberation Monument was chosen.
