The Laaglandse Molen or Achterste Molen is a seesaw mill built in 1864 to replace the burnt down mill built in 1627 and is located at Zeek 6 in Hellouw. It is the third mill on this site. The first mill was destroyed by drifting ice in 1572. In 1994, the fore and aft watercourses were excavated and repaired and a grinding circuit was constructed. After fifty years of inactivity, the mill was able to grind for the first time. In the vicinity of this mill is the Hooglandse Molen or Voorste Molen. The old Dutch fleeing has two different rods. The inner rod is a riveted rod from 1899 with number 1816 and the outer rod from 1983 is a welded one. There are removable storm signs on the outer rod. At the inner rod, the front hem is very narrow and the fencing extra wide. The red sails are made of Copes 64, consisting of cotton and synthetic fibre treated with a coating. The mill is seasoned with a pout.
