The Hooglandse Molen or Voorste Molen is a seesaw mill built in 1803 to replace the burnt down mill built in 1627 and is located at Zeek 5 in Hellouw. It is the fourth mill on this site. The first mill was destroyed by drifting ice in 1572. In the vicinity of this mill is the Laaglandse Molen or Achterste Molen.It dates from 1967 and is old Dutch. The closed, iron paddle wheel with a diameter of 6.30 m is located outside the mill. The vang is a Flemish block vang with equator. The transmission from top shaft to water shaft is 1.47 : 1.
