The windmill De Hoop is located on Molenweg in the Dutch village of Klarenbeek (province of Gelderland). It is an octagonal post mill, thatched with reeds and with a brick-built gallery. The mill was built in 1905. De Hoop has two pairs of grinding stones, one of which is powered by electricity. The sails are equipped with the Bussel system with a Ten Have flap on the inner blade and with the Fauël system on the outer blade. There is a row of combs on the gear wheel that was added during the war years to drive an electric generator. The mill shop is open on Saturdays and the mill can be visited.
