The Hamermolen is a water mill in Ugchelen in the Dutch province of Gelderland. The mill uses the water from the Koppelsprengen. In the 17th century, Ugchelen was discovered as a suitable environment for paper production. Ditches were dug to ensure sufficient water and water power for the operation of the mills and for the paper production itself. In 1644, the mill was established as a paper mill. The mill was inherited several times, but the paper production continued here. In the 1850s, the mill was in use as a grain mill. In June 1876, the mill burned down, after which it became a paper mill again with new owners. After the mill burned down once more, it was no longer rebuilt as a paper mill. Since 2005, the Hamermolen has been generating electricity.
