VV Heijen

In 1928, the first plans for the association were made, and in 1930 the club was founded as Zwart-Wit after the colors from the coat of arms of the Lordship of Heijen from 1647. The club began playing in the Roman Catholic Football Federation. A few years later, the name was changed to Concordia.

After World War II, the association continued under the current name. In 1964, Heijen was promoted to the first class of the North Brabant division. After that, the club dropped back to the third class, in which it became champion in 1985. In 1989, the club was promoted again to the first class after playoff matches against RKSV Odiliapeel. After that, the club fell back to the third class but was promoted in 1994, after winning two championships in a row, back to the first class. In 1996, Heijen ended up in the fifth class after a reorganization in district Zuid II. In 1998, Heijen became champion in the 5th class, after which it spent five years in the 4th class and achieved several high rankings.
