Wilbertoord is a reclamation village in the municipality of Land van Cuijk. On January 1, 2021, Wilbertoord had 1,085 inhabitants. Wilbertoord has an area of 10.07 km². In 1837, there was no more than a small settlement in the Peel at the site of present-day Wilbertoord, where only six houses stood. Between 1888 and 1908, an area of 580 ha was cultivated by the Princepeel company. The director of this company was Dominicus van Ophoven. The Dominicushoeve still reminds us of him.
