Middelaar is a village in the northernmost part of the Dutch province of Limburg and is part of the municipality of Mook en Middelaar. It is situated between the Maas River and the hills of Plasmolen and Groesbeek, approximately 13 kilometers south of Nijmegen. On January 1, 2021, the village had 865 inhabitants. Middelaar has a small school and a village house. Remains of a Roman villa have been found near Middelaar. The hamlets Heikant and Katerbosch are located near the village, close to the Mookerplas. Astrantia SV is the local football and women's korfball club.
