Briltil (Bril) is a village in the municipality of Westerkwartier in the Dutch province of Groningen, established around 1600. The name of the village comes from a drawbridge over the Hoendiep to the area called Bril to the northwest of the bridge. Briltil had 490 inhabitants on January 1, 2021. The village has consisted since about 2004 of a new housing estate on the east side of the Hoendiep and a small number of historic buildings and a marina on the west side. Right next to Briltil is the village of Zuidhorn.
