Ingen is a village in the municipality of Buren, in the Dutch province of Gelderland. The village has been part of this municipality since 1999. Before that, it was part of the municipality of Lienden from 1818 to 1999, and prior to that, from 1811 to 1818, it was part of the municipality of Maurik. The cluster of scattered houses runs through the hamlet of De Ganzert and merges into that of Eck and Wiel in the west.

The first mention of the church dates back to 1248. It concerned a single-nave tuff stone predecessor, of which traces have been preserved on the eastern wall of the nave. The current church has the base of the 14th-century tower as the oldest part. This was subsequently raised and incorporated. Since then, it has consisted of four sections and features a spire with a twisted tip. The choir dates from the 15th century and the pseudo-basilica nave, which is lower than the choir, from the end of that century. The youngest is the chapel on the south side, which was added to the sacristy in the 16th century.
