Firdgum is a small village in Waadhoeke in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. It had a population of around 60 in January 2014.The Dutch reformed church of Firdgum was demolished in 1794 as it was in a state of disrepair, but the 13th-century church tower still remains to date. The tower houses a clock dating from 1471. In 1982, the tower was sold to the municipality for ƒ1,- and was restored between 1986 and 1987.
