The Watermill of Hackfort is a watermill on the Baakse Beek near Vorden in gelderland, The Netherlands. It is an underlay mill that is furnished as a grist mill. The mill dates from the year 1700 and is located on the Hackfort estate of the same name where the Castle Hackfort can also be found. In 1952 the mill was shut down due to the poor condition of the wheel and mill building. At that time, the Baakse Beek also contained too little water to be able to drive the mill. When the mill came into the hands of the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten in 1981. The mill was refurbished and after the Rijn en IJssel Water Board ensured that sufficient water flowed through the Baakse Beek in 1997, a new water wheel was installed in 1998. Since then, the mill has also been used as a hydroelectric power station and grain is again milled on a voluntary basis.
