Het Arsenaal is a military building in Willemstad. It is located at Benedenkade 6.
In a fortified city, there is obviously a need for a building for the storage of weaponry. As early as 1590 there was already talk of an arctionaelhuys, also called 's Lands Magazijn. This was replaced by a new arsenal in 1627. The latter, in turn, fell into disrepair. A new and larger arsenal was built in 1792, to a design by Philip Willem Schonck.
