In 1933, the church from the 11th century was elevated to basilica. On this site, Bishop Servatius had a church built as early as the 4th century. Next to it, a frequently visited chapel with Our Lady 'Star of the Sea'; the patron saint of the city. The chapel and square form a beloved place.
