Het Witte Huys is gebouwd in 1930 en een paar jaar later in gebruik genomen als thuishaven van de gelijknamige watersportvereniging. Ernaast ligt een prachtige rietgedekte villa. Hier was in de jaren '30 een zwembad met zonneterras in de plassen aangelegd. Bij de villa kon men wat drinken na het zwemmen, het was een van de eerste hotspots aan de plassen! Later werd het restaurant en nu kan het huis gehuurd worden voor feesten en partijen. Menig celebrity-huwelijk is op deze hippe locatie gevierd.
