From Heerlen, the Geleenbeek takes you to the Terworm estate. TerWorm Castle with its French rococo gardens are a stately highlight. The
meandering Geleenbeek, hawthorn hedges, sheltered forest, meadows full of flowers, fruit orchards and drinking pools provide a lively flora and fauna.
If you stroll through the estate, you will come across the Eikendermolen from the fifteenth century and you will discover Ruin Eyckholt, which reflects romantically
in a small pond. The former outdoor swimming pool has been returned to nature and has now been turned into a quiet forest lake.
