Rhederoord is a historical country estate near De Steeg in the municipality of Rheden, located by the Veluwezoom. Rhederoord originated in the 17th century when Willem Everwijn made a series of purchases, including farms, land, and meadows, between Rheden and De Steeg starting in 1657. The current house and park were originally established in 1745 in French Baroque style. Both have been modified several times over the years to meet the demands of the residents and the architectural ideas that were prevalent at the time.
