The Reiderwolderpolder is a polder and former water board in the Dutch province of Groningen. The polder is located south and east of the Carel Coenraadpolder and north of the Oostwolderpolder and the Stadspolder.De Reiderwolderpolder was diked in two phases in the 19th century. The first department was reclaimed in the years 1862 to 1864. The second section was reclaimed in the years 1872 to 1874. It concerns land reclamation in the part of the Dollard that had been created by floods in the centuries before. The new land was suitable for grain cultivation. A new lock was constructed for drainage: Nieuwe Statenzijl.
