The rescue museum Jan Lels, located in a munitions bunker dating from 1943, showcases the history of the rescue station Hoek van Holland through a collection of paintings and photographs. Additionally, the museum has scale models of various rescue boats, rescue equipment, and many medals from (former) rescuers.
