The Beekbergerwoud is a former wet forest in the Dutch province of Gelderland, located between Apeldoorn and the village of Klarenbeek. It was reclaimed in 1871 and is considered the last Dutch primeval forest. The Nature Monuments Association aims to breathe new life into the forest through ecological development, among other things by purchasing land and allowing new swamp forest to develop in the meadows west of the A50 motorway. To the north of this 'new nature' lies the agricultural area Beekbergsebroek, which was considered part of the forest before its reclamation.
