The first stone of the rebuilt ship was laid on June 25, 1703. In 1759, the tuff stone gable towers were replaced by a wooden bell tower with a tapered spire. The bell is from bell founder Willem Wegewaert. The western facade of the three-sided closed hall church was renewed in April 1941. Four arched windows contain stained glass. Under the roof, which was restored in 2011, there is a colony of greater mouse-eared bats. The church building is a national monument. Next to the church, there is a sarcophagus that was excavated in 1946.
