The Blaricummerheide is a heathland of approximately 59 ha managed by the Goois Nature Reserve and is located on the territory of Blaricum, between the Rijksweg 1 and the Oude Naarderweg dirt road. In the heathland there is a large pit of 11 ha that was created in 1927 by land reclamation for the construction of the old road between Amsterdam and Amersfoort.
