The View of Marken is a nationally protected urban view in Marken in the Dutch province of North Holland. The procedure for designation was initiated on April 9, 1969. The area was definitively designated on September 17, 1971. The protected view covers an area of 373.5 hectares.
Buildings that fall within a protected view do not automatically receive the status of protected monument. However, the municipality will adjust the zoning plan to regulate new developments in the area. The view protection focuses on the urban planning and cultural-historical valuation of an area and aims to secure its future functioning.
