The mill was built in 1887 after a predecessor from 1801 had burned down. Until 1970, the mill was used professionally as a pumping station for the Sebaldebuurstermolenpolder.
The mill has since been restored several times; during the last restoration a few years ago, both windlasses were made operational again. The volunteer miller lives in the rebuilt miller's house east of the mill and regularly lets the mill pump the polder. For several years now, there has been a working scale model of De Eendracht right next to the miller's house. The wing cross is equipped with the Bussel System in combination with self-regulating.
