Nieuwe Compagnie is a town in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is located just west of Kiel-Windeweer. The Nieuwe Compagniesterdiep on which the region was located was almost completely filled in in 1967, with only a small part preserved in the south. The name Nieuwe Compagnie refers to the Nieuwe Friesche Compagnie, which started mining the peatland here in 1647.
