The gable roof tower from the 14th century stands on a mound. The church was demolished in 1834. The sloping tower has a 19th-century bricking and was restored in 1956. The church tower is 4.72 degrees out of perpendicular. This means that the 14-metre-high tower leans more than a metre and is the leanest tower in the Netherlands. The church tower is a national monument.
