Hunebed D2 is a portal tomb. The hunebed is located on the east side of Westervelde, 2 kilometers south of Norg, near the Norgerholt. It is a small hunebed originally with four capstones, of which two have ended up in the burial chamber and could later be placed back on the supporting stones. A remnant of the third capstone lies in the grave, and the fourth is missing. There are still drill holes visible in the remnant; the stones were reduced in size by putting gunpowder in the drill holes and detonating it. The fragments were used as building material or for road paving.
