Carvo or Carvone was a Roman settlement in the province of Lower Germania. It was a border fortress on the Rhine, along the northern border of the Roman Empire; the so-called limes. Carvo is mentioned as Carvone on the Peutinger map between Castra Herculis and Levefanum and in the Roman travel guide Itinerarium Antonini between Harenatium and Mannaricium.
