The Bommelse Brug was the old truss bridge over the Waal between Zaltbommel and Waardenburg in the A2 located at Rkm 933.55. The name Bommelse Brug was generally used, but officially the bridge was never given a name. The bridge was opened in 1933 and served until it was replaced in early 1996 by the new Waal bridge, the Martinus Nijhoff Bridge, after which it was finally demolished in 2007.
