This icon is one of the four Wageningen laboratories built in the Amsterdam School: Schip van Blaauw (formerly Laboratory for Plant Physiology). Almost a century after the foundation of this monument, it still contains beautiful authentic details.
Schip van Blaauw (former Laboratory of Plant Physiology) in WageningenThis former laboratory is located on the Wageningse Berg between Villa Hinkeloord and the former laboratory of Microbiology. It is used as office space. You can admire the monument from a distance from the mountain path. During special openings, such as Heritage Day, it is possible to admire the building from the inside.
If the Schip van Blaauw interests you, there is the possibility to rent the lecture hall and the foyer for parties and events.
