The Simon Stevin Public Observatory is a public observatory, founded in 1961 in Oudenbosch, the Netherlands. Due to increasing popularity, they moved to nearby Hoeven in 1970.
It was later renamed the Quasar Observatory and after declining interest in the 1990s, the observatory was dissolved in 2008. Guided tours, lectures and courses were given, but it was also possible to learn how to grind a telescope mirror and make observations with the telescopes. In 2015, it was re-established at the old location as Tivoli Observatory.
