The Our Lady of Perpetual Help church at Monseigneur Nolensplein was built in 1952.
Just like the entire Heuvelkwartier district, the church is built in the style of the Delft School.
In particular, the Delft School had a significant influence on Catholic church architecture. Characteristic of the Delft School are the almost exclusive use of brick, broad window frames and bay windows (often in light colors), high gutter lines, green hedges, the high tiled roofs between gables, and the use of natural stone at structurally important points.
The church has the nickname: 'The Bed'.
The church has been decommissioned since September 2008.
The former church has remained the center of the district, but now as community center De Vlieren.
