The Bunderbos is a ribbon-shaped forest located on the eastern terrace belt of the Meuse Valley between Elsloo and Bunde in South Limburg. The Bunderbos is very rich in springs and streams. Since the 1960s, the A2 has formed a barrier between the Bunderbos and Kalverbosch on the east side of the highway. Since 2013, the Bunderbos has been reconnected to the Kalverbosch through the wildlife crossings Bunderbosch and Kalverbosch.
