Landgoed Kraaiveld in Oudendijk
Description
The Kraaiveld Estate project includes the private initiative for the development of nature, a care farm and 13 homes. The project area is partly in Woudrichem and partly in Werkendam. In 2009, agreements were made with five parties involved regarding the development, financial security and continuity of the estate. Subsequently, on 15 December 2009, the municipal councils of Woudrichem and Werkendam adopted the zoning plan. An appeal was lodged, but on 22 December 2010 it was dismissed as unfounded by the Council of State.
At the moment, the new homes north of the Jan Spieringweg have been completed. Two of the 8 lots on the fortress island have also been sold. The care farm has now also been built and put into use. The new nature has been partly landscaped.
