The Lingemeer is an 80 ha lake on the north side of the Betuwe river Linge. The lake is located between Tiel and Rhenen, southwest of Lienden and borders the A15. The Lingemeer was created by sand extraction and is about 15 meters deep. In 2010, the former Lingemeer recreation park officially became a residential area of Lienden in the municipality of Buren. As a result, the former holiday homes were given a residential purpose. Lingemeer has official blue place name signs. The district consists of watercanals with detached and semi-detached houses.
