The General Cemetery Hofwijk is a cemetery in the Dutch municipality of Rotterdam. The cemetery is located on the Delftse Schie between Overschie and Delft. Since 1977, a crematorium has also been established on the Hofwijk grounds. Hofwijk was established in 1938 as a general cemetery for the then municipality of Overschie, designed by architect F. Theeuwis. The cemetery was raised with sand from the dunes at Waalsdorp. This dune sand was transported over the Schie.
