Family Park Drievliet originated from a Rijswijk estate and has become an amusement park primarily for young visitors in The Hague, Netherlands.
Drievliet got its name due to its location at the junction of the Vliet to Leiden, the Haagvliet, and the Delftse Vliet. A map from 1611 by Floris Balthasars already shows the Drievliet estate with a large garden. The heirs of Ysbrand van der Does, secretary of Amsterdam, sold the estate with 33 acres of land in 1625 to Johan van Gogh, clerk of the States General. It was probably Van Gogh who built the mansion. In 1682, it is mentioned in an estate division, and on the map of the Delfland water board by N. Cruquius from 1712, Drievliet is also indicated as an estate with landscaped gardens.
