Limburgerstraat 78, Cadier en Keer
Between 1878 and 1960, the building that is now the community house 't Keerhoes served as the town hall of the municipality of Cadier en Keer. The building also served as the residence of the head teacher of the school. It even functioned for a time as a classroom for two classes from the primary school located opposite. The building has been serving a public social function as a community house for the residents of Cadier en Keer for quite some time.
The municipality of Cadier en Keer was formed in 1828 from two originally separate places. On one side Cadier, which was an independent municipality, and on the other side Keer, which together with Heer formed the municipality of Heer en Keer. After Cadier and Keer had completely grown together, the new municipality of Cadier en Keer was established in 1828, which also included Sint Antoniusbank.
