Castle Park Born

The trumpeter swans greet you enthusiastically with their trumpet sounds, and the nandus and alpacas also come to take a curious look. In the canals, many types of swans, geese, and ducks swim, and in the large walk-through aviary, the many parrots fly around you.

The animal park is located in the gardens of the former Castle Born. In the park, you experience the tranquility that has long been present. You can enjoy walking and enjoying the animals and the beauty of nature. You walk past large camels, tough lynxes, playful silver foxes, wise owls, and slow land tortoises.

Feeling like playing? In the middle of the park, there is a large playground. The playground is next to the terrace, so you can enjoy a snack and a drink while the (grand)children romp on the play equipment, jump on the large trampoline, or play in the sand.
In the Wasjbear, young researchers discover with the help of volunteers and microscopes the water animals and water plants that live in the canals of the Castle Park. (The Wasjbear is closed for water research during the winter months).

Castle Park Born is one of the wonder locations on the Route full of Wonder.
