Vineyard de Deelgaarderberg

Wijngaard de Deelgaarderberg was planted in 2007 by Nicole and Jos Wilms. It is a true family business where son Timo is now taking over the reins.
Currently, four still white wines, four still red wines (méthode traditionnelle), and a dessert wine made from the Solaris grape are produced.
This grape is also used to make the dry still Solaris wine, which pairs wonderfully with asparagus.
You can visit the vineyard, located at the highest point of Maria-Hoop, and experience for yourself how the wines are produced. A tour with tasting and snacks lasts two hours.
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, this is almost always possible. Want to visit the vineyard during the week? Send an email, and a solution will be arranged together. The minimum group size is five people. Always register.

In April 2018, a new vineyard was planted in the historic garden of Montfort Castle. With this, Wijngaard de Deelgaarderberg has gained a fantastic location. The garden is open daily.

In September 2019, the Solaris 2018 won the first Dutch Wine Contest in Utrecht.
There is also now the opportunity to adopt vines at Wijnhof Roozendael in Reuver. This wine estate has been managed by Deelgaarderberg since 2020. You can come taste the beautiful white and red cuvée in the wine shop. For more information, check the website.
