In a cozy setting in the former monastery of Hoogcruts, a SlowLand has been established. In an informative way, the story of the monastery and the landscape is displayed. From monastic culture to the life of the farmer. From tree planting to fruit, from berry to jam, from apple to juice. Here, the life and fruit of Hoogcruts in 2021 can be experienced. And of course, tasting is also an option.
Visit Monastery Hoogcruts. The discovery tours take place on Wednesdays and Sundays. Start at monastery Hoogcruts at 10:00 AM, duration approx. 2 hours. Good footwear is recommended for walking through the orchard. Participants must register in advance and make payment. Minimum group size is 8.
