Restaurant De Olifant
Along the Vecht we still find a number of restaurants that date back to the 17th century, when the towpath was built along the river and they formed stops for the barge. Passengers could wait at these stops for the boat, eat some food and sometimes spend the night. The Elephant is also such an old inn. The name refers to a wide transport truck, drawn by horses.
