The Rijsbergen Iron Mill was a watermill on the Turfvaart, near the current Vloeiweide in Rijsbergen.
The mill was built in 1763 for Johan Frederik Hoffman, who was a merchant in Rotterdam.
It functioned as an iron mill and drove the hammers to an iron crushing mill.
The Hoffman family remained the owners for many years, although the mill was temporarily shut down in 1821.
In 1844 the iron mill was discontinued for economic reasons.
In 1852 the mill was sold to Hermanus van der Steenstraten.
This was an oil miller and the Rijsbergen iron mill was also converted into an oil mill in 1855.
In 1856, however, the company was discontinued. The mill was sold and demolished in the same year.
