Lobith is a Dutch town known as the point where the Rhine flows into the Netherlands. It is part of the municipality of Rijnwaarden in the province of Gelderland.A common misconception is that the Rhine crosses the German-Dutch border at Lobith. However, this is an old fact. In the past, the course of the Rhine was artificially modified, so that it now enters the country at Spijk.
