The village landscape of De Rijp is a protected village view by the state in De Rijp in the Dutch province of North Holland. The procedure for designation was initiated on May 20, 1968. The area was definitively designated on November 17, 1969. The protected view covers an area of 18.3 hectares.
Buildings that fall within a protected view do not automatically receive the status of a protected monument. However, the municipality will adjust the zoning plan to regulate new developments in the area. The landscape protection focuses on the urban planning and cultural historical appreciation of an area and aims to safeguard its future functioning.
