De Berkt is a house and estate located southwest of the Dutch town of Heesch, near the hamlets of Berkt and Munnekens-Vinkel. Parts of the house date back to the 16th century and the entire property, including the gardens, is surrounded by a moat. The house is accessible via a stone arch bridge. The house consists of a basement, a bel-etage which is accessible via a stone staircase, a floor, and finally a gabled roof. Surrounding the house was an estate with various forests, a maze, lane structure, and several farms with small fields. The estate covered 111 hectares but has become fragmented due to partial sales.
