The centre was completed in 1993 and has a dome construction so that both sports and spectators are not bothered by columns. The structure has a free span of 79 by 119 meters, making it the largest construction in Europe. The roof is 22 meters high. The total capacity of the centre is 7,500 spectators, of which 4,000 are grandstand seats. The floor has a maximum size of 50x80 meters. In addition to recreational tennis and indoor football, the center has often been the organizer of Davis Cup matches or even the music performances of K3. The center is located in the Genneper Parken, which is also home to National Swimming Center de Tongelreep and the Ice Sports Center Eindhoven. In 1999, the Brandstaff Masters was held there.
