The National Dachau Monument is a Dutch memorial to the Dutch victims of the Dachau concentration camp. It is located in the Amsterdamse Bos, opposite the former stand of the Bosbaan, and is an initiative of the Dutch Dachau Committee.
The monument was designed by visual artist Niek Kemps and consists of a street road of Belgian bluestone, 60 meters long and 2.35 meters wide, bordered by a yew hedge. The street road is uneven, symbolizing that the prisoners had to walk on uneven footwear. In the bluestone are the names of 500 concentration camps and outdoor camps chiseled.
