The Charlottehoeve is a municipal monument located at Biltseweg 39 on the western side of Soest. The farm with barns is part of the Pijnenburg estate.
Andries de Wilde, who became wealthy in India, settled in 1823 in the country house Pijnenburg in the area of the same name, which he significantly expanded towards Hilversum, in Soesterveen and at Laag Hees. Between 1830 and 1850, he had six new farms constructed. The farms Christoffelhoeve, Gerritshoeve, Lodewijkshoeve, and De Kooij were named after his sons, and in addition, he built the farms Bouwlust and Charlottehoeve. The farms were inhabited by tenants of De Wilde.
