The pumping station at Machinekade 19 near the Dutch village of Maarssen is a work that serves in the water management of the Bethunepolder and the drinking water supply of Amsterdam.
Getting and keeping the water management of the Bethunepolder in order was very problematic until the 1930s with the arrival of this pumping station on the edge of that polder.
